ARMHOLE BORDER
From right side, beg at underarm seam, work 1 row se around armhole, keeping work flat, join with sl st in first sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, from right side, work 1 sc in each sc, join.
Row 3: Ch 1, from right side, working from left to right, *with loop on hook, insert hook in next st to right of hook, yo and draw up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook; repeat from * around, join. Fasten off.
NECK BORDER
From right side, beg, at left edge of back opening, work 1 row sc around neck, holding in to about 17½ (19½) ins., work 3 sc in corner, keeping edges flat continue sc on both sides of opening, 2 sc in same place as first sc for corner, join.
Row 2: Ch 1, from right side, work 1 sc in each sc around neck, increasing at corner, continue to lower edge of opening, then work sc on left edge of opening for 1 (1 and a quarter) ins., ch 1, skip 1 sc for buttonhole, 1 sc in each sc to within 2 sc of end, repeat buttonhole, 1 sc in last se, 2 sc in same place as first sc, join.

COLLAR BORDER

BELT
Cut 30 strands of yarn each 2½ yds. long. Divide into 3 sections of 10 strands each and braid. Wind single strand around belt 3 ins. from each end and tie securely; trim ends evenly for tassels.
