No sorry, but the diagram is easy to follow. I will try to the best of my ability to explain how I read the charts so please look at the square chart and follow along with the instructions I have detailed for the first 2 rounds below and you will soon get the hang of it:
Round one: chain 5 and close circle, chain 3 (counts as first dc), then 14 dc. Round 2: chain 6, sc into the second chain, half double crochet into next chain, then dc into the next, then treble crochet into the next chain (also the first chain), slip stitch into the third dc from the round before and repeat this 4 more times and you have created the star section
