I started to make this cute and beautiful shoes for my brand new granddaughter and did finished one of the shoes but noticed it looked way too big, so I crochet the second shoe following the instructions step by step ( keeping the first shoe which looked way too big for guidance. The second shoe was as big as the first one, even when I made the stitches a lot tighter on the second shoe, I made yet another shoe – shoe number 3 – still was way too big as the other two I made previously. I have used, as the instructions call, same thread, same hook still the results are the same….way too big and shoe does not cover the toes and the size of the shoe is way too long from hell to toes. the entire instructions were totally wrong, not even a one year old could fit in the shoe, way too long, and it didn’t even cover the toes. this pattern needs lots of revising and fixing to my opinion, I can’t be missing something 3 times in a row? Each time I used the previous shoe I crochet as a reference, the 3 of them are exactly the same size and look exactly the same, so I know I could not possible be missing anything, this pattern is not exact.
