Many people have asked to have this pattern written out. I will try my best to explain it, keep in mind that I am not a professional pattern writer and that mistakes may be made, if you do find any please kindly let me know in the comments section. Please follow along with the diagram and I will write it out as I would read it.
Chain multiples of 10 + 2
Row 1: single crochet into the second chain from the hook, chain 1, skip 4 chains and then into the next chain * ( double crochet, chain 1, double crochet, chain 1, double crochet, chain 1, double crochet, chain 1, double crochet), chain 1, skip 4 chains and then single crochet, chain 3 and slip stitch into the single crochet and then chain 1 * repeat until end and single crochet at the end of the row.
Row 2: chain 3, 2 double crochet cluster into the first chain 1 space of the row below, chain 3, single crochet into the next space, chain 1, single crochet into the next space, chain 3, 4 dc cluster with two dc going into the last space of the fan you were working on and the other two into the first space of the next fan. Work like this until you reach the end and double crochet into the last stitch.
Row 3: Chain 4, dc, chain and dc into the last dc of the row below, chain 1, * then single crochet into the middle chain of the fan below, chain 3 and slip stitch into the single crochet, {chain 1, dc} 5 times and end with a chain 1 (this creates the fan) and repeat from * at the last stitch create half the fan at the end (3dc, instead of 5)
Row 4: Chain 1 and sc into the first dc below, and then sc into the first chain below, *chain 3, 4 dc cluster with two dc going into the last space of the fan you were working on and the other two into the first space of the next fan.* repeat until you reach the end of the row and single crochet into last two stitches.
