Crochet Pattern
Row 1: Ch 61, then ch 5 (3 ch count as Ist dc: 2 ch form 1st om), work 1 dc in 9th st from hook, *2 ch, sk 2 st, I dc, rep from * 19 times (20 om in all), ch 5. turn.
Rows 2-20: Work in filet as shown in diagram (1 sm = 2 dc in 2-ch lp, 1 dc in dc). Work design symmetrically on each side of the middle line. Popcorn st (=4 dc) form body of butterfly, puff st (= 2 dc in rows 13-18 and 2 dc in r 19) form the antennae. After completing r 20, do not cut thread, work 2 rounds of edging around entire motif, as per diagram.
